You have known my enduring passion with Jamaica and Jamaican cuisine from our dinner parties and back yard BBQs in Los Angeles, Boston and of course Denver. From our first restaurant the Jamaican Café in Santa Monica; to 8 Rivers on 32nd and Lowell and in LoDo; to Jezebel’s in our Northside neighborhood; we've savored countless dishes and created unforgettable memories together.

Those experiences are precious to me, and I'm thrilled to announce that it's time to reignite that spark with a new venture. I'm introducing The Jerk Pit Smokehouse, nestled in the heart of Denver. This isn't just another opening; it feels like I'm welcoming you into my back yard! Here at The Jerk Pit Smokehouse, we're about rekindling those cherished flavors and crafting new, magical moments. In this new chapter, we're celebrating the past and looking to the future. The Jerk Pit Smokehouse will open doors for young people looking to enter the hospitality industry but have not had the mentorship to learn. Our team will change that! Sharing our love of the flavor and aroma of our award winning Jerk dishes, we will also be smoking beef, chicken and pork every day, on site!
